Abstract

The fastening arrangement for a covering profiles of an actuating rod fitting may be used in windows and doors made from timber or plastics. The covering profiles are fitted into profile grooves in the moving or fixed frame. A holding element is situated on the underside of the covering profile. Each covering profile has diametrically opposite arms which cut into frame groove side walls. The arms have an overall length which is greater than the groove width in the frame member. The arm width is narrower than the groove width. The shank passes through a hole in the covering profile. The fastener has a collar which rests on the top face of the covering profile. The fastener head can have cruciform slot or internal hexagonal socket for fastener tool.
