Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un élément de couverture de faîte. Elle est caractérisée en ce que cet élément comporte, dans la zone prévue pour le chevauchement entre éléments un gradin s'accrochant sur la partie incurvée et dont la hauteur correspond à l'épaisseur de la matière d'une tuile faîtière et en ce que les bords, situés du côté de la couverture, dudit élément, sont munis à leurs parties inférieures, de bandes d'étanchéité, l'élément pouvant avoir une longueur correspondant à deux ou trois tuiles faîtières. Elle se rapporte à des couvertures de bâtiments.
