Cette bûche synthétique est du type constitué par un amalgame de sciures de bois et de cire provenant notamment des paraffines extraites des résidus du pétrole. Il est prévu au moins une mèche dont une partie fait saillie hors de la bûche et est susceptible d'être enflammée à l'aide d'une allumette.
