Abstract

The modular dwelling unit has window openings in one lateral face and elongate openings in its transverse faces. It is made of light material with heat and sound insulating properties and may be combined with other units including a central body. The openings in the transverse faces may be closed by doors, seals forming a connection with an adjacent unit. Each seal includes a pair of panels with pads extending across the top and bottom of the unit. The pads of adjacent units are pref. locked together by clamping elements.
