Abstract

The appts. is to restore an optical deflector to a reference position in case of breakdown, and comprises at least one deflector component (11) which is rotatably movable. The appts. comprises a heart-shaped hollow cam (15) integral with the deflector component (11) and a cam follower (16). The cam follower has a device to urge it against the cam and for restoring it to a set angular position. This device comprises a traction cable (22) and a mechanical or hydraulic accumulator.
