Abstract

Batch analysis container is a cassette made up of several parts in plastic material that assembled form sample, reagent and colorimeter cells. The cells are selectively linked amongst themselves by syphons. A control system allows the openings of the cells to be selectively linked to either an isolation means, an air aspiration means or an air pressurisation means. This control system allows reagents to be delivered to a reagent cell and the level and volume of the reagent delivered to be tested. The colorimeter cell is linked to atmos. by a pipe and has 2 parallel sides transparent to the light type used for analysis, that passes between a source and a photoelectric cell. Each container bears a label identifying the sample on to which multiple pens record the results of the analysis from the photoelectric cell. Used for analysis of a sample on which several different tests may be made, e.g. blood analysed for urea, glucose, cholesterol, uric acid, proteins. The volumes of reagents and samples are precisely measured and successive samples are not in danger of contamination. Volumes of reagents used can easily be altered mechanically.
