Abstract
Procédé et appareil pour l'augmentation de l'aire de contact entre phases d'un système, dont l'une est liquide. On incorpore une autre phase 21 du système à la phase liquide 15 et l'on provoque une décharge électrique transitoire dans la phase liquide ou dans un liquide 33 séparé de celle-ci par une membrane 33 de transmission acoustique, pour engendrer dans la phase liquide une onde de choc qui y disperse l'autre phase. L'aire de contact entre phases augmente, ce qui est particulièrement avantageux lorsqu'il s'agit d'assurer une réaction chimique ou un transfert de chaleur ou de masse. Application notamment aux processus industriels impliquant le mélange intime de liquides immiscibles ou d'un ou plusieurs gaz et d'un liquide.
