Abstract

L'objet de l'invention se rattache au secteur technique des outils à main et notamment à celui de l'affûtage. L'appareil est caractérisé en ce qu'il se compose d'une plaque-support 1 rigide, pliée transversalement en forme de V très ouvert, recevant suivant son axe longitudinal médian une lime 2 ronde dont la soie 2' déborde à une extrémité de la plaque 1 pour recevoir un manche 3; l'autre extrémité formant bec 1** 1 de préhension est surbaissée et présente de part et d'autre de l'axe de la plaque 1, des lumières longitudinales 1**6 pour le passage des palpeurs de la chaîne lorsque l'appareil est utilisé comme gabarit. Le côté convexe de l'appareil, situé face à l'opérateur, lors du limage, présente des traits ou indices de repérage 1**5 définissant la position de la lime 2 par rapport à l'axe longitudinal de la chaîne afin de respecter les angles d'affûtage des outils tranchants portés par la chaîne. L'appareil peut avoir toute taille pour l'affûtage de chaînes de dimensions différentes.
