Abstract
A co-ordinate table allows a travel card to be marked with a required location. The co-ordinate wires of the marking system are secured to guide sleeves that locate on threaded leadscrews. Each leadscrew has an associated pair of miniature stepping motors. The motions of the stepping motors are co-ordinated to ensure rectilinear movement of the marking wires. The device is small enough to be hand held and used by pulsing the motors of appropriate rates.
