Abstract

La présente invention est du domaine de la mesure des débits de fluide et elle a pour objet un débitmètre électromagnétique pour la mesure de précision du débit d'un fluide dans une conduite normalement partiellement pleine. Le débitmètre de l'invention est principalement caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend une paire d'électrodes arquées 12 et 13 et des moyens électromagnétiques 15 et 16 pour établir un champ magnétique dans un tube d'écoulement 10, ledit champ magnétique ayant une intensité qui est plus grande au sommet du tube et qui diminue au fur et à mesure que l'on approche du fond. Application à la mesure des débits dans des conduites de fluide éventuellement partiellement pleines.
