Abstract

A corrugated cardboard passes through an adhesive applicator station before a planar facing sheet is applied. The laminated cardboard assembly is then fed through an oven where it is heated by high frequency radiation produced by a generator so that the adhesive is hardened, and the cardboard is dried almost instantaneously. A double-faced corrugated cardboard can be produced without having temporarily to store it for drying before being fed to a subsequent processing machine.
