Abstract

Mobile chassis type pea-picking machine has a transversely mounted picker drum with tines and a drive mechanism partly enclosed by a cowling mounted on the chassis. There is also at least one auxiliary picker drum with drive, likewise partly enclosed by a cowling. Each drum can extend virtually right across the machine, and they can be mounted at different heights and one behind the other. The cowling of the front drum can extend over the rear one. The front drum can be mounted higher than the rear one, and their diameters can be the same.
