Abstract

The tripod leg (3) is hinged to the frame (1) by the hinge pin (9). The bracket (7) has a base flange (23) which is bolted to the top of the leg by means of the central set-screw (25). The pin housing (11) has three ratchet teeth (34, 37, 39). The lever (15) has a lug (35) engaging the ratchet in any of the desired positions. The lever (15) is pivoted about the pin (13) in a bracket plate. A spring (29) keeps the lever in contact with the ratchet.
