Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de transmission du mouvement à rapport variable entre des organes tournants. Il est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un élément entraîneur mis en rotation axiale par un organe tournant de commande, une pluralité de chaînes cinématiques d'engrenages transformant le mouvement rotatoire de l'élément entraîneur en mouvements rotatoires respectifs de différentes vitesses, à rapport de transmission variable, de roues dentées respectives placées coaxialement à l'intérieur dudit élément entraîneur, un élément entraîné couplé pour rotation à l'organe tournant commandé et des moyens susceptibles d'être commandés, d'accouplement sélectif dudit élément entraîné à l'une ou à l'autre des dites roues dentées en fonction du rapport de transmission désiré. L'invention s'applique aux cycles, motocycles, véhicules et machines en général.
