Abstract

The handle is fitted to a ski stick to facilitate its use when making rearwards movements. It is in two parts, the shorter (a) being fixed permanently over the end of the stick. A second part (b) fits over the rear of the first part being attached to it by a pivoted plate (c, d) at the top. This movable portion encompasses only the rear of the fixed portion, being free to swing rearwards in use. The movable portion has a horn-shaped pommel (3) at the top and, at the bottom a thing (g) for the wrist; also, a clip (f) for locating this portion around the stick.
