Abstract

Clapet obturateur pour installations de transport d'air, muni de papillons dont les arêtes axiales se touchent en position de fermeture. Pour assurer l'étanchéité latérale entre les papillons et le carter, près des disques dentées 6 fixés aux papillons 3 l'invention prevoit de disposer une bague 7 en une matière élastique entre chacun de ces disques 6 et le carter 1. Cette bague est concentrique à l'axe de rotation 2 des papillons et est revêtue d'une feuille de matière à coefficient de glissement élevé. Le diamètre de la bague 7 est égal à la longueur diamétral du papillon 3, de sorte que les bagues de papillons adjacents l'un à l'autre se touchent. Application : étanchéité latérale de papillons obturateurs tournants dans une conduite de transport de gaz.
