Abstract
A levelling device for high speed fluid sampling systems is designed for simplicity, no spillage during operations, and to maintain constant level of blood serum in a tube from which samples are to be taken. The device is designed for trouble free economical use. An insertable cup has an open top (10) and a sealed bottom (16) offset with respect to the centre line of the opening and that of the sample tube. The cup may be fixed inside the top of the tube by its C-shaped ring clamp (17) or a stopper fitting. When the tube is tilted the cup receives a quantity of the sample which it retains when the tube is returned to its original position.
