Abstract

Assembly for stirring liqs. in flexible sealed packages includes a pocket of flexible material directly connected to an auxillary part (I) by two passages. (I) is vertical and sepd. from the main part by a hot weld seal that leaves the two passages at the top and the bottom. (I) is a set between 2 symmetrical counter-cams in strip form joined at one end to form a V-shape and with a spring in the V tending to force the cams apart. The counter-cams are moved by two cams formed by ex-centered rollers on shafts that rotate in opposite directions. These cams are driven from a motor via a geared reducer. As the cams rotate the V-shaped counter-cams are forced together compressing the auxillary pocket from bottom to top. The liq. escapes into the main pocket via the upper passage with sufficient velocity to form vortices. Used for liqs., sealed in flexible plastic sachets or packets, that require stirring before use. Arrangement allows the liq. to be stirred inside the packet.
