Abstract

The cardboard container is formed from a single sheet of cardboard which is pre cut and crimped. The container has a base, and four vertical sides. The centre of the edge between the base and the ends has a vent hole. The front and back side pieces have extensions which fold over or inside the end pieces giving additional strength to the container. The tp of the end piece is furnished with a flap in two portions. One portion (65) will tuck over the double thickness of end pieces and hold them together. The outside of the flap will hold the front and back together by means of the side tabs.
