Abstract

La présente invention concerne une chambre d'extinction d'arc électrique Dans cette chambre comprenant des tôles d'extinction 1 disposées en parallèle qui, dans leur partie opposée à l'entrée de l'arc, sont fixées en position par une pièce 2 en matière isolante de section en << U >> munie d'orifices de sortie pour les gaz de l'arc électrique, les intervalles 4 situés entre les tôles d'extinction sont fermés par la pièce en << U >> 2 sur le côté opposé à la fente d'entrée 3 de l'arc, la pièce en << U >> 2 étant munie d'un orifice 5 pour chaque intervalle sur chacune de ses deux faces latérales, ces orifices 5 qui sont situés sur chaque face latérale étant disposés selon deux rangées formant une ligne en zig-zag, le résultat étant que les orifices 5 successifs d'une même rangée correspondent à des intervalles 4 non immédiatement voisins. Cette chambre d'extinction d'arc électrique est utilisée dans les disjoncteurs électri ques.
