Abstract

The connection of links printed circuit boards to flexible conductors or further flexible circuit boards normally providing power supplies. The design allows PCBs to be changed easily. The rigid printed circuit boards are stacked parallel to each other and spaced along their connection edge by two rectangular cross-sectional bars. The flexible conductor or circuit is folded over each board and around the spacers such that its conducting surface faces that of the printed circuit board. Single spacers between the opposite sides of the boards maintain the rigidity of the stack, the whole group being held by long bolts passing through the boards corners and through the flexible circuit.
