Abstract
L'invention concerne un convertisseur de fréquence comprenant un stator équipé d'un enroulement primaire et secondaire ainsi qu'un rotor tournant librement. Dans ce convertisseur, les pôles saillants du rotor sont divisés en deux groupes alternés, chaque pôle appartenant au premier groupe étant agencé de façon à comporter un entrefer qui est plus étroit dans la partie centrale du pôle que dans ses parties extérieures, et chaque pôle appartenant au second groupe étant agencé de façon à comporter un entrefer plus large dans la partie centrale du pôle que dans ses parties extérieures. Convertisseur permettant de faire sortir de l'enroulement secondaire un courant d'une fréquence quadruple de la fréquence de la source.
