Abstract
The concreting formwork carrier, pref. made of steel, and used for form support, combines economy of material content with increased bend resistance in the stem areas. It incorporates a stem area with spaced apertures along its length. The peripheries of these apertures (1b) are shaped into lips (1c). Where there are two steel girder elements, forming U-shaped channel sections, connected parallel and back to back, there may be a stem area (1a) in each girder element (1) with spaced apertures formed into lips in this way. The apertures are pref. circular with the lips on the two stems facing opposite ways. The lips can be rotation-symmetrical, or in the form of a one-sided bulge on the aperture edge.
