Abstract

The panel assembly for facing buildings, particularly those intended to be constructed from prefabricated sections, are fixed between two horizontal beams (2, 4). the beams can be metal, concrete slabs or any other beam disposed at the appropriate floor level. The panels consist of two walls separated by a thermal and sound insulation. Fixed, by bolts (10), to each panel along its bottom edge is a shaped metal strip (6, 8) which forms a slot (14) into which locates an angle (18), provided with slotted holes (22, 24) which is bolted (26) to the bottom horizontal beam. Also attached to the angle is a profiled metal strip (30) which supports the panle. AT the top edge of each panel are two parallel angles which are bolted together and in turn bolted through a slotted hole to the top horizontal beam.
