Abstract

The agricultural drying machine is intended for unchopped bladed or leaf crops. It has a chamber which slopes at an acute angle to the ground, with two conveyors along its base which conveys material towards a nearly vertical conveyor at the back, and a pair of overhead conveyors at the top. Hot air is discharged from a system at the bottom. The bottom has several hot air discharge openings directed towards the conveyor. The floor consists of bars parallel to the bottom conveyors, these having bars across them. A distributor duct discharges hot or cold air into a chamber under the bottom conveyors, blown by a fan. This chamber increases in size from one end to the other. The sides of the main chamber are of wood. The bottom conveyors include dirt traps at the end.
