Abstract

L'invention décrit un perfectionnement permettant d'augmenter la quantité et la qualité des liquides produits, à partir de charbon solide par un procédé comportant une zone de liquéfaction et un réacteur de pyrolyse, de préférence une zone de cokéfaction utilisant des noyaux de coke fluidisés. On recycle les liquides lourds obtenus dans le réacteur de pyrolyse (par exemple les matières de P.E. 538 degrés C) vers la zone de liquéfaction plutôt que vers le réacteur de pyrolyse pour un traitement supplémentaire dans des conditions d'hydrogénation et une transformation des liquides lourds en des liquides à plus faible point d'ébullition, que l'on peut enlever par distillation de l'alimentation du réacteur de pyrolyse.
