Abstract
L'invention a pour objet des résines uréthanes polymérisables par addition. Les résines uréthanes se caractérisent en ce qu'elles présentent au moins un groupe terminal ayant la structure CH2 = C < et en ce qu'elles contiennent le produit de la réaction d'au moins un composé isocyanate organique ayant au moins deux groupes isocyanate; d'au moins un polyol polyester ayant au moins deux groupes hydroxy et contenant le produit de la réaction d'au moins un glycol choisi dans le groupe comprenant le butylène 1,3 glycol et le néopentyl glycol; d'acide adipique; d'acide isophtalique et de 0 à 50 moles pour cent d'au moins un polyol aliphatique ayant au moins trois groupes hydroxyles, les moles % étant basées sur le total des moles de glycol et de polyol aliphatique; la quantité d'acide isophtalique étant de l'ordre d'environ 1 à environ 50 moles % basées sur le total des moles d'acide adipique et d'acide isophtalique; et au moins un composé monomère insaturé polymérisable par addition ayant un groupe hydrogène actif unique réagissant avec l'isocyanate; le composé isocyanate étant en excès par rapport aux groupes hydroxyles du polyol polyester, le composé monomère insaturé polymérisable par addition ayant un groupe hydrogène actif unique réagissant avec l'isocyanate, étant présent en quantité suffisante pour fournir au moins un équivalent molaire d'un groupe hydrogène actif en ce qui concerne la réactivité avec l'isocyanate. Urethane resins are characterized in that they have at least one end group having the structure CH2 = C <and in that they contain the reaction product of at least one organic isocyanate compound having at least two isocyanate groups; at least one polyester polyol having at least two hydroxy groups and containing the product of the reaction of at least one glycol selected from the group comprising butylene 1,3 glycol and neopentyl glycol; adipic acid; isophthalic acid and from 0 to 50 mole percent of at least one aliphatic polyol having at least three hydroxyl groups, the mole% being based on the total of the moles of glycol and aliphatic polyol; the amount of isophthalic acid being on the order of about 1 to about 50 mole% based on the total of the moles of adipic acid and isophthalic acid; and at least one addition polymerizable unsaturated monomeric compound having a single active hydrogen group reacting with isocyanate; the isocyanate compound being in excess of the hydroxyl groups of the polyester polyol, the addition polymerizable unsaturated monomeric compound having a single active hydrogen group reacting with the isocyanate, being present in an amount sufficient to provide at least one molar equivalent of a group active hydrogen with respect to reactivity with isocyanate.
