Abstract
Dispositif permettant le pilotage précis et le contrôle de l'altitude des aérostats stratosphériques. Il est constitué par l'association d'un ballon porteur à gaz captif, et d'un ballon modulateur d'altitude à air chaud solaire et caractérisé par le système d'attelage des deux aérostats. Ce dispositif, appliqué à l'exploration stratosphérique, permet notamment une étude et une surveillance systématique de la composition de l'air et des pollutions engendrées par la navigation aérienne.
