Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication en une seule étape de pièces moulées en mousse de polyuréthane possédant une densité moyenne comprise entre 0,25 et 1, à partir de polyéthers-polyols, d'agents d'expansion et de polyisocyanates organiques mis en oeuvre en quantités telles que l'indice d'isocyanate soit compris entre 1,00 et 1,50. Le procédé est caractérisé par la mise en oeuvre de polyéthers-polyols constitués par : a. 40 à 70 parties en poids d'un polyéther-polyol ou d'un mélange de polyéthers-polyols d'un poids équivalent compris entre 70 et 250 et, de preférence, entre 100 et 150, et d'une fonctionnalité moyenne susceptible de prendre toute valeur de 3 à 8 et de préférence de 4 à 6, et b. 30 à 60 parties en poids d'un polyéther-polyol ou d'un mélange de polyéthers-polyols d'un poids équivalent compris entre 600 et 2 500 et, de préférence, entre 800 et 1 500 et d'une fonctionnalité moyenne susceptible de prendre toute valeur de 2 jusqu'à 3. L'invention est applicable à la fabrication de pièces minces telles que des pièces de mobilier, des âmes de ski, des éléments de véhicules ou toute autre pièce susceptible de supporter des efforts mécaniques.
