Abstract

Procédé et appareillage pour éliminer les sels d'un plâtre de gypse alimentant une installation de production, pour la fabrication de produits en plâtre solidifié. Un débit d'arrivée en continu de plâtre de gypse contenant des sels est mélangé rapidement et intimement avec un écoulement d'eau et, après un temps (appelé temps de séjour) trop court pour qu'une hydratation acceptable du plâtre se produise, une portion appréciable de l'eau contenant des sels en dissolution est séparée d'une manière continue du plâtre et le plâtre humide ou imbibé d'eau est transporté aux postes suivants de la chaîne de production. Ce procédé utilise un mélangeur d'eau et de plâtre 12 suivi d'un séparateur liquide/solide 17. Application : fabrication de produits moulés, notamment de carreaux de plâtre.
