L'invention concerne un rotor supraconducteur d'une machine électrique Lorsque le rotor comporte des enroulements supraconducteurs et est entouré par une enveloppe métallique froide dans laquelle des accidents peuvent faire apparaître des quantités de chaleur susceptibles de faire transiter les enroulements, on refroidit cette enveloppe métallique par l'hélium sortant du circuit de refroidissement des enroulements. Application aux alternateurs.
