Abstract

Modular tray supports workpieces during baking, where the tray is rectangular or square. On one side of the tray are four feet, each of same height and two feet are located along each end of the tray; but the distances sepg. the pair of feet at each end of the tray are different. An identical set of four feet are used on the other side of the tray, each foot of same height. When the trays are stacked vertically so surface is uppermost on all trays, the gap between the trays is the same. But if alternate trays are rotated 180 degrees the gap between the trays become double. Used for the baking of enamelled tiles in a furnace. The tiles are made with different thicknesses; and the invention produces trays which can be stacked vertically in two different ways to obtain either a gap with one height or double height ot suit the tile thicknesses, a single design of tray produces this variation.
