Conformateur destiné au relevé précis de contours d'un corps solide. Il est du type suiveur de courbe, l'organe détecteur effectuant des déplacements circulaires d'un point détecté au suivant et son axe de détection s'orientant, à chaque détection, de préférence normalement au contour. La commande des déplacements circulaires est du type numérique, ceux-ci étant définis par une table de valeurs de consigne mise en mémoire Application au relevé de contours du corps humain, en radiothérapie transcutanée.
