Abstract

L'invention concerne la compensation des effets de dépolarisation dans les antennes travaillant simultanément sur deux paires de signaux polarisés de façon orthogonale. La rotation de polarisation dans l'ionosphère par effet Faraday présente une périodicité journalière et une périodicité annuelle, mises en évidence par les courbes de rotation de polarisation au cours de la journée, correspondant respectivement au 1**er janvier et au 1**er juillet. L'antenne de l'invention comporte, entre autres, un mécanisme qui compense automatiquement ces rotations de polarisation. Application aux télécommunications spatiales.
