Abstract

L'invention concerne un différentiel notamment pour la transmission d'un véhicule. Ledit différentiel comprend un boîtier se composant de deux demi-boîtiers définissant chacun un espace central semi-annulaire renfermant les satellites et planétaires. Chaque demi-boîtier comporte des demi-tourillons tubulaires opposés qui entourent les extrémités internes des arbres de roues du véhicule lorsque le mécanisme est monté. Un tourillon de montage des satellites s'étend transversalement à l'axe des arbres de roues. Chaque demi-boîtier présente une bride semi-circulaire d'un diamètre supérieur à celui de la partie centrale du demi-boîtier. Une couronne dentée s'ajuste sur les parties centrales du demi-boîtier et s'applique contre les brides. Une bague fendue vient en prise avec les extrémités du tourillon de montage pour l'empêcher de tourner.
