Abstract
The grammatical method is designed to aid composition of sentences of a language. The method uses a board and a number of shaped pieces. The pieces are fitted together like pieces of a puzzle. Each grammatical class of the words is inscribed on the pieces of the puzzle. Each piece having a predetermined shape and colour. The grammatical constrains to which the words are subjected are represented by shape of the elements or pieces of the puzzle. Two pieces cannot be fitted together if the result is grammatically incorrect. The system uses a second board which is used to display the diverse variations of the obligatory order association of elements of the puzzle. These are displayed as a function of their colour and shape.
