Abstract
A device for maintaining a liquid at a constant level No in a receiver incoporates a connection between the upper part of the receiver and the space around the receiver, and a water-tight vessel. The vessel is connected to the receiver by a pipe at a point below the level No and to one branch of a siphon situated at the level No. The other branch of the siphon opens into the space around the receiver at a level above No. The device maintains the water is a recetor at a constant level without the need of a source of energy. It maximises the safety to the plant. Liq. can be injected over a long period.
