La présente invention concerne un conteneur de matières dangereuses et/ou précieuses comportant une bonbonne, renfermant ladite matière, calée à l'intérieur d'un fût rigide et résistant, ledit conteneur étant caractérisé en ce qu'au moins une partie de l'espace situé entre la bonbonne et la paroi interne du fût est remplie d'un matériau capable d'absorber ou d'adsorber sensiblement la totalité de ladite matière.
