Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire un acier au silicium électromagnétique ayant une orientation à structure cubique sur arêtes et une perméabilité d'au moins 1870 (G/Oe) à 10 oersteds, ainsi que les aciers obtenus. Ce procédé comporte la préparation d'une charge fondue d'acier au silicium contenant 0,02 à 0,06 % de carbone, 0,0006 à 0,008 % de bore, jusqu'à 0,01% d'azote, au plus 0,008 % d'aluminium et 2,5 à 4,0 % de silicium, la coulée de l'acier, le laminage à chaud de l'acier, le laminage à froid de l'acier, la décarburation de l'acier, l'application d'un revêtement d'oxyde réfractaire contenant du bore et du SiO2 et le recuit de texturisation finale de l'acier.
