Abstract

Mécanisme synchronisateur pour le déploiement d'éléments porteurs de cellules solaires, lesdits éléments étant reliés par des articulations et se déplaçant en envergure de part et d'autre du corps d'un satellite à partir d'une position pliée du type accordéon. Selon l'invention le mécanisme considéré comporte des dispositifs à engrenages placés alternativement à une extrémité d'un élément porteur menant, ledit mécanisme coopérant avec un organe moteur pour assurer le pliage ou le dépliage desdits éléments. L'invention permet de réaliser de façon sûre le déploiement des éléments porteurs une fois le satellite en orbite, le mécanisme présentant en position repliée un encombrement minimal.
