Abstract

A video telephone and facsimile transmission/reception console is used. The console is built of a radial distribution of eight units. Each console is completely independent of the others. Each unit has a TV camera (C2) for transmitting an image of the users face. A microphone (L) supplies acoustic information. There is a loudspeaker (1) and a CRT (k). They provide received acoustic and visual information while a second camera (C) views a series (b) on which documents may be placed for facsimile transmission.
