Abstract

The packing container has a base (1) supported on a lower frame (4). The base is furnished around the edges with a number of hinges (5) along the sides and (10) across the ends. Each hinge has a pair of lugs welded to the base with a central lug welded to the sides and kept in position by a pin. The sides are made on a framework (7) which is joined to the hinge and has covering panels with ventilation slots (8). The end and top panels are similarly constructed. The container may be collapsed when it is emplty.
