Abstract

The film cleaning device has an open top cleaning fluid filled housing with rotatable rollers mounted on and within the housing to conduct and guide the film to be cleaned through that part of the housing which can be filled with cleaning liquid. It has the guide rollers in the form of cleaning rollers (24, 26) with a V-form external shroud (34) upon which the film is supported. An annular groove (30) with axial extension runs across the peripheral surface of the roller and has several cutout sections (36) between the external shroud (34) and the annular groove (30).
