Abstract

The imitation horseshoe is for use as a decoration. It can be personalised by selecting and fixing any combination of letters or designs (18, 19) in the inner space between the sides (11, 12). The ends of these sides are thickened to resemble the flanges of a real shoe. A narrow bar (17) is fixed across the inner space, being flush with the back of the horseshoe. The letters or designs are attached by means of studs passing though the bar. The completed horseshoe is fastened into its required display position by using imitation square headed nails passing through similar holes (15, 16) in the horseshoe sides.
