Abstract

The rocket out electrical cable reel is fixed into a tubular frame (10, 12). This frame has ends (15) which project beyond the face plate (16) housing the rocket outlets (6). In the event of the cable reel being overturned, the ends (15) of the frame (10) prevent the rocket outlets from coming into contact with the ground. This ensures that the outlets will not be contaminated with mud or water which may be on the ground. To obviate further contact with the ground, the socket outlets (6) are sunk into faceplate (6). The frame (10, 12) is also set at less than a right angle. This is so that when the reel is lifted by the frame its centre of gravity is such that it will not swing excessively when lifted.
