Abstract

The cable insulation stripper is easily adjustable for different types of cable. It has at least two stripping wheels connected to a drive. The wheels rotate in opposite directions, and the cable can be clamped between their cylindrical surfaces, and held in a holder before the wheels. The cable is fed to a cable cutter behind the wheels. The distance between wheel (2, 3) shafts can be so changed, that their axes are parallel to each other, in all possible positions, so that the device can be adjusted to cables of different thicknesses. The stripping process can be quickly completed.
