Abstract

Access doorway of a transport container is sealed gas-tight by stretching over it an impervious film and holding the edges of the film between members which engage together. One member is mounted longitudinally and passes round and near to the inner edge of the doorway, the other member engages with the firs so that the film is gripped tightly. Seal is esp. suitable for large food containers for rail or road transport.
