Abstract

The hinge consists of a cylindrical tube (13) closed at each end by a ring (14) which screws into the tube. The door panel (16) is held onto the hnge by two gudgeon pins (17) which fit into slots (20) in the panel and are secured by screws (19) placed at right angles in the panel. The hinge is held to the furniture framework (31) by screws rings (24) which screw into slots (32) in the frame work and are secured by nuts (33) at the othe side. These screw rings are fixed to the top and bottom of the hinge by the ferrules (12) which hold them in place, but allow the hinge to rotate and be adjusted.
