Abstract

The discharge element of an ozone generator is protected by a fuse. The fuse is placed on a conducting layer covering a dielectric wall. and is within a tubular envelope made of a nonconducting ozone resisting material. This envelope has a removable cap closing one or both ends. A connecting conductor passes through the cap. The tubular envelope passes into a support ring which closes the discharge element. The support ring has an air hole in it. The contact element which connects and end of the fuse is flexible wires which press against the conducting layer passes through the cap arranged inside the discharge element.
