Abstract

An appts. for handling materials, during their processing, transporting and storing, incorporates a portable container and a handler. The container can be suspended and rotated on the handler. It has grooves on >=2 of its contiguous sides. The handler has two arms at right angles to one another with ribs projecting from them. The ribs fit into the grooved of the container and the container is gripped by pegs which can be tightened on to it. The invention allows materials to be stored, transported and mixed cleanly, economically, safely and flexibly. It reduces the exposure of the materials to the environment and eliminates contamination and corrosion. Storage, transport and treatment of materials can be carried out in the same container.
